LO3: Planning a original print based advertisement.
This is where I plan to take the pictures for the ad, by having the models on the top step I can create the effect of hem looking down on you that I wanted.
Budget
I have decided to have 300 A3 size posters and 200 A2 size posters for my ad. From looking at the company 221 creative printing it would cost £68.72 to have the ad on 300 pieces of 130 gram paper. To have the ad on 200 pieces of A2 size paper it would cost £1080 bringing the total up to £1148.72, this means that I would need £1200 to have all the ad printed.Monday, 16 January 2017
LO3: Planning an Original Print based advertisement.
For my final idea I have decided to have all of the characters present on the poster, the photo will be taken on a low angle so it appears as if the characters are looking down on you. The name Yorkshire Lasses will be on the bottom of the poster with the air date on underneath that.

LO3: Planing an advertising campaign.
The main aim of this advertising campaign is to show all of the main characters that will be in Yorkshire Lasses. From looking at all of the example posters I would like to create a poster with the characters in their own friendship groups.
The first idea that I had for my poster was to have one of the female characters (Cheryl) in the foreground covering most of the poster with with two male characters (Jeremy and Carl) looking sinister in the background. This is a reflection of what will happen in the first episode of the show, with the two brother chasing after Cheryl.
The second idea I have for my poster is to have all the characters laid out on the floor looking drunk after a party, this is because the synopsis of the show beings to develop after the events of the party. This connotes to the audience that the party hold some significance into how event will play out later.
The third idea that I had thought of was to have the males on one side an the females on the other side I want it to look like Boys vs Girls, as this would follow the same theme as in the show. The significance of the characters in Yorkshire Lasses with the more important ones appearing in the foreground, the further back they are in the poster the less they appear in Yorkshire Lasses.
